  1. برای تعیین ضخامت عایق حرارتی مورد نیاز در تاسیسات ساختمان عوامل مختلفی از جمله اختلاف دمای سیال نسبت به محیط، ضریب انتقال حرارت عایق، نوع و روکش عایق و .... موثر است.
  2. چنانچه برای جداره های ساختمان عایق کاری لازم باشد، جهت جلوگیری از پدیده میعان (بین دیوار و عایق) ابتدا لازم است دمای هوای مرطوب محل با جداول عایق مربوطه بررسی شوند.
